Dear Sicomac Families,
We've wrapped up another wonderful week at Sicomac. I hope you all enjoy a relaxing weekend, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back to school on Monday. For those joining 5th Grade Bingo tonight at EMS, I will see you there!
Reminders for Parents
Thank you to everyone who stopped by our Lost and Found this week. Many items made their way back to their homes. We will relocate the Lost and Found table to the front of the main office again for our second parent-teacher conference night on Monday. If you're missing anything, please take a look.
Please be sure your child comes to school with a jacket each day. Weather permitting, we will continue to go outside for recess to enjoy the fresh air, move our bodies, and engage in outdoor play as much as possible as we head deeper into the fall.
A friendly reminder that the upper loop is reserved for buses and preschool pickup during afternoon dismissal. To support the safety of our youngest learners, please avoid using the upper loop if you are picking up students in Grades K-5. Thank you for your cooperation in keeping our dismissal safe.
Sicomac Strut
I couldn't be prouder of our Sicomac Eagles for giving their best effort during this year's Sicomac Strut! A heartfelt thank you to our PE team (Mr. DePersis and Ms. Reitano) our resident DJ (Mr. Potosnak) and all of our parent volunteers for making the event such a success.
Physical activity plays an important role in learning, and this event is a wonderful representation of our commitment to whole-child education. We are also incredibly grateful for the amazing turnout for the Sicomac Strut Food Drive. In this season of giving, it is inspiring to see the generosity of our community.

NJSLA Field Testing Update
Our 4th and 5th graders completed field testing for the new NJSLA Assessment that will be formally administered this spring. Many students shared that they enjoyed the new platform and found the experience positive. We are very proud of their effort and focus during this practice session.
