4th

I hope everyone has had a great Spring Break! As we transition back to school, we will be gearing up for State testing and heading towards the final two months of school. Let’s work together to finish the year strong!

Coolidge School will celebrate Administrative Professionals Day on Wednesday, April 29th. Please join me in saying thank you to Mrs. Gneiding and Mrs. Venema for all they do for our school, staff, and students.

We will have a schoolwide meeting on May 1st. All students and staff are encouraged to wear Coolidge spirit wear or blue/yellow.

During the week of April 13th, we enjoyed our Student Council Silly Spring Spirit Week. Thank you to the Student Council for planning some fun days and for everyone’s participation. We also held our second annual staff “Rock, Paper, Scissors” necklace challenge. The staff had a lot of fun participating, and students enjoyed watching. We were also able to model for our students great sportsmanship in both victory and defeat!

Our Fifth Grade students took part in their annual Earth Day activities. Students were thrilled to clean up garbage and debris from the back woods as well as planting oak tree saplings in the woods for future generations to enjoy. Thank you to the PTO Green Team for providing the trees and for their assistance.

I-READY LOGIN AND DIRECTIONS

All students have completed their third i-Ready Diagnostic. The Diagnostic is an adaptive assessment that identifies students’ strengths and opportunities for growth. That information helps determine how to best support their learning and helps teachers set goals and personalize small group instruction for the remainder of the school year. Here are parent directions to access your child(ren)’s i-Ready reports.
