Please note that Monday is a minimum day for all students for staff professional development. There will be a 1:05 pm dismissal.

Report cards will be available on the Genesis Parent Portal on Friday, March 26th, at the end of the school day for grades 1-5. Please know that report cards are intended to be a way to communicate with parents how their child is progressing towards meeting the grade level standards for a particular subject area. Learning is a continuum, and there will inherently be areas of strength and areas of growth for each student. If you have any difficulty accessing the portal, please email our Genesis helpdesk at genesis@wyckoffps.org.

Parent/Teacher conferences for Kindergarten students will be taking place during the week of April 13th. Please be on the lookout for an email sent from your child’s teacher.

The third and final i-Ready Diagnostic Assessment will take place during the week of April 6th. Leading up to this assessment, teachers have been identifying specific student needs and using the data from past assessments to set goals, differentiate instruction, and implement targeted small-group and personalized interventions. Data received from the April diagnostic will allow teachers to identify and set goals for the remainder of the school year for their students.

Next week, Coolidge School honors Neurodiversity Celebration Week. This initiative focuses on and celebrates the many ways that our brains learn, and challenges misconceptions about neurological differences. We have a Words of Wisdom message on the topic that will be reviewed with students to assist in deepening their understanding of individual differences.

On Monday (tomorrow), our 4th-grade students will visit the Zabriskie House in Wyckoff. We are so thankful to the volunteer docents who have welcomed us for this trip. This is a wonderful opportunity for our students to learn about our local history!

Attention 5th Grade Parents: Please see these reminders from Eisenhower regarding registration and payment for the Fairview Lake trip in the fall.

The Coolidge School Media Center is a community that is "Lucky to be reading." Students are leaving four-leaf clovers in their favorite books for others to find as they select books to read. See the excitement from students who had their "Lucky Find" from other readers.

WILLY WONKA KIDS- RECAP AND THANK YOU

Congratulations to the cast and crew of Willy Wonka Kids! Students should be so proud of their hard work and effort, as well as their incredible singing, dancing, and acting skills. They put a smile on our faces and entertained us! A huge thank you goes out to the many staff members who went above and beyond to volunteer their time for the students. Thank you to Mr. Cosman for his creativity, talents, and coordination in making it all come together. Lastly, we could not have done it without our amazing parent volunteers and the financial support of the Coolidge PTO.
