I hope everyone had a great Winter Break! Just like adults, students often struggle with returning to school after an extended break. It is important to work together with our students to help provide for a smooth transition back to a learning environment and the expected norms and rules of a typical school day.
The Coolidge Media Center welcomes Jerry Pallotta this coming Thursday, February 26, 2026. A huge thank you goes out to our PTO for funding this event. To show how much the students enjoyed reading his Who Would Win Series, please wear an animal print- Coolidge shirt with cougar paw or any animal- to show our love of non-fiction reading on 2/26/26.
There have been a few minor adjustments to the NJSLA testing schedule for May. These dates have been updated on our school calendar. Please plan accordingly.
May 5th-6th - Grades 3-5 Reading
May 7th - Grades 3-5 Writing
May 13th-14th - Grades 3-5 Mathematics
May 19th-20th - Grade 5 Science
On February 12th, 5th-grade instrumental music students from all four elementary schools attended a Young People’s Concert, performed by the New York Philharmonic at Lincoln Center, New York City. This served as a wonderful opportunity for our students to experience live music and embrace the arts and culture of New York City.
Message from Mr. Cosman regarding this week’s school musical rehearsals: Check out the updated February Calendar for the upcoming musical rehearsal schedule. Students should enter via the gym doors. Please wait in your car until someone opens the doors at 8:15. Contact Mr. Cosman if you have any questions, or refer to his email.
Kindergarten registration for the 2026-2027 school year is now open. If your child is ready to start their educational journey this fall, please visit the district website for details and enrollment instructions. For planning and budgeting purposes, we would like to get students registered by February 20th if possible, so please spread the word.
WYCKOFF SUMMER ACADEMIES 2026
Wyckoff Summer Academies is open to students entering Kindergarten through Grade 7 and offers a variety of academic and enrichment courses, including STEAM classes through National Hall of Inventors® Camp Invention, taught by certified Wyckoff teachers.
Dates: Four one-week sessions (8:30 AM – 12:45 PM)
July 6–10 | July 13–17 | July 20–24 | July 27–31
