As we approach Thanksgiving, we want to pause and express our deepest gratitude for the incredible support, partnership, and trust you place in our school every day. We are truly thankful for our wonderful students, our dedicated staff, and especially for you—our supportive parents—who form the essential foundation of our school family. Message from Mr. Cosman regarding this week’s school musical rehearsals: Check out the updated November Calendar for this week's upcoming musical rehearsal schedule. Students should now enter via the gym doors. Please wait in your car until someone opens the doors at 8:15. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Cosman or refer to his email.
We will have a schoolwide meeting on Wednesday, 11/26. All students and staff are encouraged to wear Coolidge spirit wear or blue/yellow.
TURKEY TROT RECAP
Our 2nd Annual Turkey Trot was a great success! The students set individual goals and worked hard to meet them, and the majority of students exceeded their targets. Our Coolidge school community ran a total of 420 miles during the event. Through generous donations from our Coolidge families, we donated 46 turkeys to help families in need. Thank you to the Coolidge PTO, staff, and families for all of your support. Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
STUDENT COUNCIL COAT DRIVE
The season of giving is upon us! Coolidge Student Council will once again be hosting our annual Coat Drive! Families are encouraged to donate new or gently used coats to benefit New Destiny Family Success Center in Paterson. All coat sizes will be accepted. The coat drive will be held from November 24th to December 3rd. Students should bring the coats to school and drop them in the collection bin near the front and back entrances.
PTO PATH TO RHYTHM DRUMMING ASSEMBLY
A huge thank you to our PTO for funding the Path to Rhythm Drumming Assembly this past week at Coolidge School. A separate assembly was held for each grade level, providing students with a hands-on drumming and dancing experience. Students were engaged throughout the presentation and were proud of what they were able to accomplish.
WYCKOFF FAMILY CONNECTION SERIES- “THE ATTENDANCE AGENDA”
The Wyckoff Coordinating Council is hosting the second parent presentation as part of the Wyckoff Family Connection Series. This presentation, titled The Attendance Agenda, will take place on December 2nd at 7:00 PM at Eisenhower Middle School. The presentation will explore post-COVID attendance trends, barriers to school attendance, and warning signs for parents.

AMERICA 250: STUDENT CONTEST
America’s Field Trip is a nationwide contest that invites students across the country in grades 3–12 to be part of our nation’s 250th anniversary by sharing their perspectives on what America means to them, with the chance to earn an unforgettable field trip experience at some of the nation’s most iconic historic and cultural landmarks.
Students are asked to submit writing or original artwork in response to the contest’s prompt: “What does America mean to you?”. Click here for more information if your child is interested in entering this contest.
