As a reminder, there will be a minimum day for students on Monday, January 20th, with a 1:05 PM dismissal. Please join me in honoring the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Coolidge teachers will spend time with their students discussing the importance of Dr. King’s message of peace, equality, and justice. We also recognized the Inauguration with Words of Wisdom in the morning to promote conversation with students.
Thank you to the Coolidge PTO for funding last week’s Skydome Planetarium assemblies. Through the inflatable planetarium in the gym, our budding astronomers were taken on a solar system tour. It was so exciting for students to enter the dome to see a “star-filled” sky of the Northern Hemisphere and to learn from the expert navigator.

Please note the following dates for the New Jersey Student Learning Assessment (NJSLA) for grades 3-5 students. Please keep the following dates in mind when scheduling appointments or other time off for your children. The assessments will begin after the morning meeting each day, at approximately 9:15 a.m., and conclude by around 11:15.
English Language Arts (Grades 3-5) - Wednesday, May 7th and Thursday, May 8th
Mathematics (Grades 3-5) - Tuesday, May 13th, Wednesday, May 14th & Thursday, May 15th
