Our fifth grade students enjoyed a wonderful day at Spring Lake Day Camp in Ringwood this past week. This trip serves as one of our culminating experiences for our fifth grade students who remained engaged all day long in swimming, ziplining, boating, dancing, rock climbing, playing sports, and so much more. Thank you to the Coolidge PTO for funding this trip!
There has been a date change for the 4th and 5th grade band concert. This concert will now take place on June 13th at 7:00 PM. Please mark your calendars. More information will be forthcoming from Mr. Weidman and Mr. Vetrero.
A huge thank you to the Coolidge PTO for funding our “Path to Rhythm” assemblies this past week. This program provided an educational and interactive group drumming and dancing program for all students. Authentic African hand drums called Djembes were incorporated into 45 minute sessions of drumming and dancing for each grade level. Students enjoyed this musical and cultural experience!
THIS WEDNESDAY, June 5th, the Coolidge School PTO will hold the annual Bicycle Safety Rally. This is a day for 3rd and 4th graders to ride (or bring) their bikes or scooters to school. Helmets are required.
Starting at 9:00 AM, individual classes will meet with an officer from the Wyckoff Police Department. The 3rd and 4th-grade students will participate in a short series of bicycle handling tests and safety checks.
If your child will be participating in the Bike Rally, please be sure that his/her bicycle, scooter, and helmet are in good working condition. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out.
Students and parents received a letter via email regarding admission into the Talented Art Program (TAP) at Eisenhower School for sixth grade.
The Genesis parent portal is open for parents to make a selection for World Language for their children. An email with further information regarding this was sent in May. The deadline has passed to make your selections so if you have not responded yet please do so right away.
Subscription busing is available at a cost to all rising 6th-grade students. Please read this letter for more information.

Also, the sixth-grade overnight team-building trip to Fairview Lakes YMCA Camp is scheduled for September 17-18, 2024! It is a great opportunity to meet new friends and start sixth grade with a lot of fun. Please return this form and a down payment of $120 (written to Eisenhower Middle School) by May 24th to Eisenhower School. More information to come regarding chaperones and final payment information. If you have any questions, please call the EMS main office.
