students at pto meeting

This week we celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week at Coolidge School. Please join me in thanking our dedicated staff for everything they do for our students and the Coolidge Community every day. Through their actions, we are helping our students grow academically, socially, and emotionally to be the best they can be!

We are proud of Liam and Ben for earning the top spot on a recent ESPN Plays of the Day. Watch this video to see their top play!

The Wyckoff Police Department has notified the school that the Grandview Avenue road closure will be extended to May 13th.

NEW JERSEY STUDENT LEARNING ASSESSMENT (NJSLA)

The New Jersey Student Learning Assessment (NJSLA) for grades 3-5 will occur on the dates listed below. Some parents have asked if these tests “count”. The message for your children should be that all tests count and they should try their hardest on all the work that they complete in school.  It also serves as great practice for other standardized tests they will take in their academic careers.

Also, please check that your child(ren) has working headphones in school as a set is needed for the assessments. Additionally, Smartwatches of any type are not permitted to be worn during testing.

Here are the dates:

May 7th-8th- Language Arts Grades 3-5

May 9th-10th- Science Grade 5 ONLY

May 14th-16th- Mathematics Grades 3-5
