4th grade girls at steam night

Check out the latest episode of Cougars Cave brought to you by 5M. The Cougar’s Cave is a fifth-grade broadcast created by Coolidge 5th graders with our technology teacher, Mrs. Provost. This year, each class will generate ideas for the episodes, write scripts, and film in front of a green screen.

As a reminder, the Wyckoff Schools will be closed for Good Friday, March 29th.

Message from Mr. Cosman regarding the school musical rehearsals: Check out the updated March Calendar for this week's upcoming musical rehearsal schedule. Performers should enter through the gym doors at 8:20.

RESOURCES FOR PARENTS

Common Sense Media offers parents resources regarding excessive screen time, social media use, cell phones, and online safety for children. Go to the “Parent Tips and FAQ’s” pull-down menu. Unfortunately, negative consequences of student technology use outside of school often permeate the school day leading to distractions, off-task behaviors, inappropriate language, and conflicts. We manage and work with students on all of this, but it does take the focus off of instruction, learning, and academic achievement. Let’s continue to work together to help our students navigate these challenges. Close supervision of student technology use at home is strongly encouraged.

1ST AND 2ND GRADE MINI-MUSICAL- SWAMPED!

The first and second-grade mini-musical will take place on April 9th. The 9:15 am performance is for 1st grade parents and the 2:20 performance is for 2nd grade parents. 1st and 2nd grade parents should have received an email from Mr. Cosman with more information. The students cannot wait to show off their musical talents!
