The Coolidge teachers and staff have been busy preparing for the new school year and are energized to make it a great one! The building and classrooms look awesome and we are looking forward to the arrival of our students. As you know, the first day for students is tomorrow, September 7th. This is a minimum day, with a 1:05 p.m. dismissal. Friday, September 8th, is also a minimum day, with a 1:05 pm dismissal.
At last night’s Wyckoff Township Committee Meeting, our Wyckoff Schools Special Law Enforcement Officers III (SLEO III) were sworn in and will begin working in our schools starting this Thursday. A special welcome to Officer Atme who will be serving at Coolidge School this year and will be an important part of our school community. Officer Atme is a retired Police Sergeant from the Passaic County Sheriff’s Department where he served for 27 years. He brings 5 years of experience as a SLEO III Officer in another district to Coolidge School.
I hope to see all Coolidge families at the Wyckoff Education Foundation (WEF) Color Run this Saturday, 9/ 9 at 11:00 AM at Eisenhower Middle School. You can still register for this event. Click here for more information. Prizes are awarded to the school with the highest participation. Some insider information tells me that we are near the top of the standings, so we will need a late push to put us over the top! Go Cougars!

Regular Day: 8:50 am - 3:20 pm (Students arrive at school between 8:35-8:50 and will begin to enter their homerooms at 8:40)
Minimum Day: 8:50 am - 1:05 pm (No lunch grades 1-5. Kindergarten students should bring lunch on minimum days. There is no Nicholas Market or PTO lunch service on minimum days.)
Delayed Opening Day: 10:20 am - 3:20 pm (Lunch served for all students grades K-5.)
First Day of School- 9/7 (minimum day 1:05 dismissal)
5th Grade PTO Kick-Off Event- 1:05 PM (after dismissal)
Second Day of School- 9/8 (minimum day 1:05 dismissal)
