Last week we celebrated Administrative Professional’s Day at Coolidge School. A huge thank you goes out to Mrs. Gneiding and Mrs. Venema for all that they do to help keep our school running smoothly and safely.
Next week is Staff Appreciation Week. Please join me in acknowledging our Coolidge staff and thanking them for all they do each and every day for our school community.
During the month of May, Coolidge School honors and celebrates Asian Pacific American Heritage Month.
ARBOR DAY CEREMONY
Thanks to the Wyckoff Shade Tree Commission, the Department of Public Works, and the Environmental Commission, a tree was planted outside of the gym (near Grandview entrance) on Arbor Day. 4th and 5th grade Student Council representatives read essays and poems to commemorate this event. Thank you to Mayor Madigan and the Township Committee for their participation and support as well.
PARENT NIGHT WITH JACK BERCKEMEYER
All parents are invited to hear a presentation by author, presenter, and humorist Jack Berckemeyer titled “Understanding Adolescents” on Tuesday, 5/9 at 7:30 PM at Eisenhower Middle School. This presentation is open to all K-8 parents but is focused on children ages 10-15.
SUMMER ACADEMY STUDENT VOLUNTEERS
The Summer Academies are in need of student volunteers. Students can gain valuable experience working with younger students in the Wyckoff summer program. Students will be assigned to Wyckoff Summer Academies teachers to help earn community service hours. This volunteer program is open to Wyckoff School District's current 7th and 8th-grade students and high school former Eisenhower students.
