paw COOLIDGE UPDATE

Check out the latest video update from the Coolidge Student Council. It includes information about our Holiday Gift Drive, which is happening now until December 7th in coordination with the Social Services Association in Ridgewood. You can help children all around Bergen County get what they want for the holidays and help spread Holiday Cheer! Donate a Target gift card or cash.

Last Tuesday we celebrated our November School-Wide Meeting with grade 4-5 students in-person in the gym and grade K-3 students watching virtually from their classrooms. During this meeting, our Safety Patrol captains shared important reminders and rules for morning drop-off and line-up to keep all students safe. We also discussed the importance of recognizing all that we have to be thankful for during the holiday season and we set a goal to spread joy and give back to our community, family, and school during the month of December.

This week the Coolidge PTO will be hosting the Winter Craft Fair after school on Wednesday and Thursday for students who have already signed up. Please be on the lookout for important information from the PTO regarding pick-up to ensure everything runs safely and smoothly.

Please note that the marking period ends on December 10th. Report cards for students in grades 1-5 will be available via the Genesis Parent Portal after school hours on December 17th.

Our teachers are working with students to go beyond memorization of facts. What does it mean to be fluent in math? Please join us for a hands-on experience with our math consultant, Bill Jackson, and our instructional coaches to learn ways to support your children in developing math fluency. Workshops will take place the evening of 12/2 in the Coolidge MPR with separate sessions for grades K-2 and 3-5. See the attached flyer for more information.
